Right in the center of Pontevedra is the old Café Bar Savoy, now known as the new Savoy Restobar and run by Pablo Liste, who is the chef and owner of another well-known Gastrobar in the city with his wife Ana: Badiana Tapas.

The Savoy is located in the Plaza de la Peregrina and after several years of management as a café Liste has wanted to turn it around and transform Savoy into a new hotel concept. Now on the top floor, they serve meals and work as a restaurant with very elaborate dishes; instead on the ground floor is a traditional bar with simple tapas, beers, wines, coffees and from there comes the name of RestoBar

Pablo was already a client of Roig and after reforming together the kitchen of the Badiana Tapas, he decided to call us to project together the bar and new kitchen seen on the top floor. This new concept called for more plating tables, more service with refrigerated furniture and a new cooking block adapted to produce the new Savoy menu

We have set to work and in just 2 days, Roig has dismantled the previous kitchen and equipped the new kitchen with custom stainless steel furniture, refrigerated tables with drawers under kitchen block, freezing table with 2 doors, cold engines distance, manufacture wall stainless steel shelves for the fitting of trays, a baron professional firing block with radiant plate, frytop and 2-burner kitchen with water circuit. Also in the cooking zone, we have incorporated other elements such as 2 mini convection convection ovens, temperature folding, vacuum packing and stainless steel coating on the walls to avoid tiling joints and to facilitate the cleaning of the kitchen.

We want to thank the trust that Ana and Pablo have put back in Roig and we hope to stay united and be part of all the projects that come, because the truth is that friends like you are few
